About Proximity Without Performance™

An independently developed structural standard for low-pressure environments.

Why this standard exists

Many group environments unintentionally rely on social performance as a baseline. For neurodivergent people, this often results in masking, ambiguity, and pressure to participate in ways that are misaligned with how they process and engage.

Proximity Without Performance™ (PWP) was developed to address this at a structural level rather than an interpersonal one.

Stewardship

Proximity Without Performance™ was developed by a neurodivergent founder and is independently stewarded.

The standard is grounded in lived experience and iterative real-world application. Its integrity is maintained through defined structural boundaries and clear implementation criteria.

PWP is not positioned as a therapy model or facilitation style. It is a structural governance standard.

Forward intent

The long-term intent of PWP is to expand access to structurally safe environments through implementation layers and licensed training pathways, while maintaining the integrity of the standard.
